The South African Guide Dog Association celebrates its 70th birthday in Women’s Month by hosting a high tea.
Over the decades the association has been positively changing the lives of people living with disabilities in South Africa. This Women’s Day they celebrated the inspiring women who have also been changing lives, in spite of their challenges.
The celebrations consisted of inspiring speakers, delicious treats, and a chance to connect with like-minded women. Inspirational speakers included former Protea netball player and cancer survivor Adéle Niemand, as well as lawyer Anel Coetzee with guide dog Obi.
The association made the event extra special by hosting a ladies’ high tea and supporting each other on an ongoing mission to continue changing lives for the visually and physically disabled.
